On is hiring an Inventory Management Specialist to lead the inventory accountability processes and requirements, responsible for shaping how these are implemented and executed within the Americas. This role is a critical junction point, linking on-site warehouse team performance with network standard expectations. You will be responsible for defining, measuring, and analyzing the results of our 3PL partner’s ability to control, track, and manage inventory within our 3PL Network.

Your Mission

  • Lead investigations into inventory discrepancies, researching transactions, and building remediation actions related to operational control projects.
  • Support SOX compliance efforts for the Corporate and Americas region, including conducting and documenting process walkthroughs and narratives, with a focus on internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with Americas Warehousing Teams, Inbound & Outbound Planning teams, and global teams as needed to ensure D365 inventory for both stock (STK) and non-stock (non-STK) groups are managed appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Analyze large data sets to support conclusions, controls implementation, and KPI tracking.
  • Document clear and concise reports that communicate key insights to functional/business personnel and senior leadership.
  • Partner with multiple sites to understand their needs and develop strategies to support inventory management processes and overall flow of goods.
  • Support in creating transfer orders to move inventory between warehouse locations as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate inventory accuracy issues, driving solutions until resolved.
  • Work independently to initiate, execute, and complete projects and daily tasks, including reporting.

Your Story

  • 1-3 years of experience with Fortune-500 public companies, specifically in inventory management and logistics with increasing responsibility.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365), and financial applications.
  • Proven ability to manage inventory and logistics strategies across multiple locations.
  • Strong analytical skills with at least 1 year of experience using business intelligence dashboards.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Flexibility to cover one weekend per month for overnight inventory syncs.
  • Functional knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
