Overview

As the Senior Specialist, Talent Operations – Retail in the Americas region, you will own critical talent processes and ensure HR compliance as On\’s retail presence expands across the US, Brazil, and Canada. Reporting to the Senior Lead of Talent Operations and partnering closely with the Talent Business Partners, and Retail leaders, you will be a thought partner for process improvement, maintain data integrity across multiple systems, and resolve operational roadblocks for our growing retail workforce. This position will be based out of our Portland, OR office for a hybrid work environment.

Your Mission

  • Proactively identify, resolve, and optimize operational processes with a focus on scalability and automation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate initiatives with broader HR and business strategies
  • Drive HR compliance initiatives for a non-exempt Retail workforce, safeguarding adherence to evolving regulations and proactively identifying gaps for current and new markets
  • Accurately and efficiently process sensitive documentation including contracts, amendments, promotions, transfers, and legal documents
  • Manage Workers Compensation claims and partner closely with Business Partners on team member health and safety topics
  • Partner closely with the Talent Business Partners to support investigations, accommodations, and other Employee Relations topics
  • Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to analyze recruitment data and drive process improvements
  • Act as a primary point of contact for new team members during onboarding and throughout the employee lifecycle, handling employee inquires via our ticketing platform and monitoring relevant employee channels
  • Provide coverage for fellow Talent Operations team members as needed
  • Contribute to a team that values continuous learning, and encourages a balanced approach to impactful work

Your Story

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in HR operations, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth retail or omnichannel brand
  • You bring 2+ years of experience supporting a non-exempt workforce
  • You operate with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
  • You demonstrate proven ability to manage end-to-end projects with precision, bias towards action, and challenge existing processes for continuous improvement
  • You are comfortable making decisions with input from others, are unafraid to challenge the status-quo, and you regularly identify and solve problems within your work
  • You make your colleagues better by building on their strengths; you offer support and share knowledge
  • You effectively adjust your communication based on your audience and master how and when to share information with various stakeholders
  • You approach challenges with a growth mindset, leveraging feedback for continuous development
