This is your chance to join the world's fastest-growing sports company. On aims to disrupt not only the product and supply chain landscape of shoes but also that of apparel and accessories. You will be responsible for building a strong accessories sourcing base in Asia, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, as a key member of the globally integrated supply chain team and cross-functional apparel organization, with frequent travel within Asia.

Your Mission

  • Supplier Strategy & Relationship: Evaluate and onboard the right material and trim suppliers, considering technical capabilities, sustainability standards, and innovative mindset of the brand. Build a robust sourcing strategy for On’s growth in Asia and globally. Collaborate with T2 partners on infrastructure and process improvements based on On’s quality standards. Maintain transparent relationships with all T2 partners, encouraging open communication and collaboration.
  • Operational Monitoring: Monitor seasonal calendars for buy readiness, on-time deliveries, and risk assessment processes during commercialization and bulk production to mitigate risks. Ensure clear communication between internal stakeholders such as Zurich Material team and Vietnam Development team. Negotiate costs and lead times for materials and trims to ensure optimal deliveries. Ensure materials are tested during development with correct standards, and all relevant compliance and sustainability certifications are available for audits.
  • Team Management: Build a strong accessories material team in Vietnam and globally. Provide guidance on daily tasks and skill development for future leadership. Act as a role model, embodying On’s culture in communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Textile Engineering or related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience in material management, with 4-5 years in fabric manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, data management skills, and knowledge of technical fabrics and prints.
  • Basic understanding of development processes and requirements.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • An entrepreneurial, open mindset with a drive for differentiation and excellence.
  • Ability to balance creativity with organization in a fast-paced environment.
