In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and implementing D365 solutions that optimize our finance operations and enhance our customer experiences. You will be a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
Your Mission
- D365 Implementation and Customization: Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of D365 projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Develop custom solutions within D365 F&O (Finance and Operations) to meet specific business needs in the retail industry. Configure and customize D365 modules relevant to finance. Integrate D365 with other business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, e-commerce platforms).
- Technical Expertise: Possess deep technical understanding of D365 architecture, development frameworks (X++, .NET), and data management. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices. Stay current with the latest D365 features, updates, and industry trends.
- Solution Design: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents. Propose and evaluate different technical solutions to address complex finance challenges. Contribute to the overall architecture and design of D365 solutions.
- Teamwork and Mentorship: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers. Share knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Problem Solving and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to D365 implementations. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing D365 systems. Proactively identify and address potential system performance bottlenecks.
Your Story
- 6+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 development and implementation, with a specific focus on the retail industry.
- Strong proficiency in X++, TypeScript, .NET, C#, and related technologies.
- Experience with D365 F&O modules relevant to finance (GL, AP, AR etc.)
- Knowledge of D365 data management and integration tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira or similar tools for source control and CI/CD.
- Understanding of finance business processes (e.g., accounting, controlling, financial planning & reporting).
