Lead – D365 Engineer (Finance) role at On.
In this role, you will design, develop, and implement D365 solutions that optimize finance operations and enhance customer experiences. You will be a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of D365 projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Develop custom solutions within D365 F&O (Finance and Operations) to meet specific business needs in the retail industry.
- Configure and customize D365 modules relevant to finance.
- Integrate D365 with other business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, e-commerce platforms).
Technical Expertise
- Possess deep technical understanding of D365 architecture, development frameworks (X++, .NET), and data management.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Stay current with the latest D365 features, updates, and industry trends.
Solution Design
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
- Propose and evaluate different technical solutions to address complex finance challenges.

Your story (Qualifications)
- 6+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 development and implementation, with a specific focus on the retail industry.
- Strong proficiency in X++, TypeScript, .NET, C#, and related technologies.
- Experience with D365 F&O modules relevant to finance (GL, AP, AR, etc.).
- Knowledge of D365 data management and integration tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira or similar tools for source control and CI/CD.
- Understanding of finance business processes (e.g., accounting, controlling, financial planning & reporting).
