On Your Bike is a family-run motorcycle training school based in Warrington and operated by a team of dedicated professionals led by Angela, a DVSA-approved instructor and IAM Advanced Rider. We specialize in providing comprehensive training for riders, from their first CBT to obtaining a full license. Students train on well-maintained motorbikes with patient and expert instruction, and we provide all necessary equipment, including helmets and jackets. Our school serves the Warrington area as well as Cheshire, Runcorn, Widnes, Wigan, and surrounding locations.

We are seeking a Motorbike Instructor for a contract position at our on-site facility in Warrington. As an instructor, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Teaching safe and efficient riding techniques
  • Guiding students through their CBT and license training
  • Maintaining safety standards during practical riding sessions
  • Evaluating students' skills and readiness for assessments
  • Ensuring that all equipment and motorbikes are used safely and maintained properly

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in motorcycle riding and a valid DAS license for 3 years
  • Experience as a motorcycle instructor or similar teaching role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teaching students with varying skill levels
  • Knowledge of traffic regulations, road safety, and best practices for riding
  • Ability to assess students' skills and adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Strong focus on safety and risk management
  • DVSA-approved instructor certification is highly desirable
