At *On Yer Bike*, we are looking for a Specialist Motorcycle Technician to join our premier workshop team near Aylesbury. As an official dealer for *Kawasaki*, *Ducati*, *Aprilia*, and *Moto Guzzi*, this role is designed for a senior tech who thrives on technical challenges and wants to work with some of the most advanced two-wheeled technology on the market.
*What You’ll Be Doing*
Working in our modern, fully equipped workshop, you will handle our most technical and in-depth jobs:
* *Complex Diagnostics: *Utilizing advanced factory diagnostic tools to troubleshoot intricate electrical, electronic, and fuel injection issues. * *Major Mechanical Work:* Performing detailed engine, gearbox, and chassis rebuilds, as well as complex mechanical repairs to high standards. * *Brand Specialism: *Working directly on flagships and high-performance models across Ducati, Kawasaki, Aprilia, and Moto Guzzi. * *MOT Testing:* Conducting Class 2 MOT inspections and ensuring full DVSA compliance across all tested machines. * *Quality & Technical Mentorship:* Assisting with quality control checks and supporting mid-level technicians with complex technical queries.
*Who We’re Looking For*
* *Experience:* Extensive experience in a franchised motorcycle dealership or high-level specialist workshop environment. * *Technical Expertise:* Advanced diagnostic skills, strong electrical fault-finding ability, and deep experience with modern engine systems. * *Qualifications:* NVQ Level 3 in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent proven master/senior tech experience). * *MOT Tester:* Active DVSA Class 2 MOT Tester status is highly preferred. * *License: *Full UK motorcycle license (Class A) is essential.
