Beauty and Fragrance Consultant Synergy Promotions are a leading Travel Retail Promotional Agency who promote the world’s leading Beauty, Fragrance & Liquor brands within Heathrow Airport Duty Free Stores and across the United Kingdom & Ireland. As a Beauty and Fragrance Consultant, you will provide personalized recommendations and expert advice on beauty and fragrance products to passengers. You will ensure an excellent customer experience by actively engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and offering tailored solutions to meet their needs. Your role is crucial in driving sales, maintaining store presentation, and building lasting customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: • Customer Service: Provide expert beauty and fragrance advice, offering tailored recommendations and creating a personalized shopping experience . • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product ranges and trends to confidently demonstrate products and engage customers. • Sales: Meet sales targets, promote current offers, and contribute to store success through upselling and cross-selling. • Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized store, ensuring products are well-stocked and visually appealing. • Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and ensure store procedures are adhered to. Skills & Experience: • Previous experience in retail, preferably within the beauty and fragrance industry, is highly desirable. • Strong passion for beauty, skincare, and fragrance with a keen interest in trends and innovations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and deliver exceptional customer service. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and meet sales targets. • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to meet the demands of the airport environment. This role will be self-employed. Self- employed roles offer the freedom to choose your own shift patterns, giving you the flexibility to design a schedule that suits your lifestyle. While weekend availability is required, we offer ongoing, year-round work with a variety of shift times to accommodate different preferences. Our business operates 365 days a year, and as the role is based in an airport, shifts may start as early as 4am and run until 9pm, but with numerous shift options available within this window. We will work with you to find a schedule that fits, and we\’re looking for individuals who can commit to at least 30 hours per week with weekend flexibility. This is a great opportunity for those seeking a dynamic and flexible working environment! This role requires candidates to be 18 years of age or older due to the nature of the working environment. Required: • You will be issued an Airside pass for airport access, which requires you to provide a complete 5-year history. • Criminal record check – Disclosure and Barring Service • If you have resided outside of the UK for six months or more in the past five years, you will be required to obtain a police clearance certificate from the respective country . • You must also possess a valid passport and have the legal right to work in the UK.
