On The Hoof is a family-run, Texan-inspired food business serving up bold flavours and big portions with heart. Our passion lies in authentic Texas-style barbecue, Neapolitan-style pizza cooked in our incredible Marano rotating oven, and a brunch menu crafted from the finest local ingredients.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our small but mighty team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in consistent, high-quality food, and wants to develop their skills in BBQ and pizza cooking.
Alongside our regular weekend service, we also cater weddings and unique private events, bringing our signature fire-cooked flavour to unforgettable celebrations. If you are hardworking, calm under pressure, and enjoy being part of a close-knit team, we would love to hear from you.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working in a professional kitchen
- Weekend availability – essential
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate – essential
- Pizza trained or willing to learn

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Food Prep
- Working a section during service and maintaining pace and consistency
- Supporting your team during busy services and events
- Maintaining food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Helping create a positive, hardworking kitchen environment
