The Role of the Quality Assurance Manager • Provides guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out plans, standards and procedures, consistent with established policies and the General Manager’s approval • Meets with staff to ensure that operations are being executed in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and objectives • Reviews operating results of the organization, compares them to established objectives, and takes steps in a timely manner to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results. • Create, Manage and control Quality Documentation for all projects to ensure all operations are being executed in accordance with customers specifications and standards. The Ideal Person for the Quality Assurance Manager • College degree or equivalent. • Responsible for providing coaching and performance feedback. • Good communication skills in group settings and in written format • Above average mathematic ability. • Must have a background in Health and Safety, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Environmental Management and Control, Cost of Quality, Vendor Management.
