The Role of the National Sales Manager: Leading a team of 8 across the UK comprising of Territory Manager, Product Managers and Clinical applications. This vacancy is due to a promotion so there’s a success story behind this. Leading the Commercial function across the UK, with responsibility for the effective performance of the Sales and wider Commercial Team. This is a highly commercial, people-centric leadership role focused on delivering sustainable revenue growth, profit performance, and market expansion, while simultaneously developing the capability and effectiveness of each individual in the team. The successful candidate will drive the creation and execution of commercial strategy, oversee sales operations, manage budgets, build strong supplier and customer relationships, and champion the adoption of CRM and operational systems. A core part of the role is to nurture a high-performance culture, one centred on accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement to ensure every team member becomes the best version of themselves and achieves their full potential. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the National Sales Manager will be expected to role-model the business values, inspire others, and contribute to shaping the company’s long-term success.

The Ideal Person for the National Sales Manager:

  • Must have significant sales leadership experience in medical capital equipment
  • Keen to look at RSMs, ready for a step up or equally NSM looking to develop further in a growing business
  • Comfortable covering a National role with plenty of travel
  • Location of candidate is open due to it being working from home/out in the field
  • Ideally Medical Imaging experience but not essential
  • Strong CRM management
  • The key focus to this role is people management and leadership
  • Be flexible and have an enthusiastic mindset
  • Possess a high degree of motivation
