Job Description:
Reference OTRDG030725SE. Products include imaging equipment, panel equipment, microscopes, endoscopes, light sources, and cameras. Customers are NHS hospitals, private hospitals, and clinics. Location: London, South East. Package: £37k-£45k basic + quarterly bonus (dependent on service department turnover, last 4 years paid out £15k-£16k p.a.), Hours: 37.5 per week (8.30am-5pm, Mon to Fri). The Role of the Field Service and Installation Engineer:
- Service and install hospital and dental products, including imaging equipment, microscopes, endoscopes, light sources, and cameras.
- Cover designated sales areas in London, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and Essex, with occasional travel further afield and workshop repairs.
- Support all customer requirements with installation, repair, and servicing of equipment.
- Provide after-sales support and assist the sales team.
- Travel with periodic overnight stays.
The Ideal Person:
- Qualified to HND/HNC or degree in electronics or engineering, or equivalent.
- EBME Engineer or Military Engineering backgrounds are successful candidates.
- Experience with equipment installation, use, and software configuration.
- Good health, physically capable of duties.
- Self-motivated with a full driving license.
- Strong IT literacy, customer service, and commercial skills.
