Well known suppliers of automation products who are looking to strengthen their sales team with the recruitment of a high calibre Sales Engineer. Selling to large end users, machine builders, OEM’s and Systems Integrators. Focusing on environmentally friendly production and sustainability.
About the Role
You will be selling products used in the automation sector such as PLCs, HMI’s and sensing systems. Adding value to existing customers by creating an attractive ROI. Managing your own diary between existing business and new business. Field based role covering Cornwall and Devon - 4 days on the road and 1 from home.
Responsibilities

- Field based role based in the South West of England.
Qualifications
Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification an advantage.
Required Skills
- Experience in automation and controls would be ideal.
- Sales experience – either internal or external.
- Experience working for or selling to a distribution company would strengthen your application.
- Coming from an electrical wholesale background with a strong desire to learn.
Pay range and compensation package: £40-45k, Bonus and monthly commission scheme (High OTE), vehicle, 25 days holiday + bank holiday.
