The Role of the Area Sales Manager: As Area Sales Manager you will be maintaining and growing existing business through selling the company's range of Flooring Products into retailers. Account management is 90% of the role, with 10% targeting new business. You’ll be tasked with selling the company's new product launches which have been tailored to incoming business for the area. This area has huge potential to grow business due to the large number of new developments. You must live on patch: RM, WD, EC, E, EN, HA, NW, N and IG.

The Ideal Person for the Area Sales Manager will have field sales experience in flooring into retailers. The most important qualities are hunger, ability and drive. Our client is looking for someone who is results driven, thrives on a challenge and has the ability to work in a pressured environment. Must have a pro-active approach to sales and customer service; the key is to build and maintain relationships. Disciplined in hitting targets, honest, enthusiastic and with the drive to be the best as well as a team player. Good knowledge of the local area is essential. Will hold a full driving licence.
