The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
10-20 hours per week (to be negotiated) + 1 weekend per month On-Call (paid at £315). Must have either availability in the mornings or evenings (16.00pm – 22.00pm).
Your Role as a Care Supervisor:
A position for a Care Supervisor has emerged in this well-established and expanding domiciliary care company. The position will see the successful applicant join our existing care management team who together, jointly cover and oversee the provision of care throughout the Cheltenham and North Cotswolds areas.
Candidates with previous domiciliary care experience are preferred - those with NVQ3 (or equivalent) or higher qualifications are particularly desirable, although this is not essential for the post if you are experienced. However, candidates must have a full UK driving licence and be locally based or within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham.
The successful Care Supervisor will, along with our other Supervisors, provide support to our care staff, ensure new starters are supported out on shadow shifts, carry out spot checks on staff, review care plans, liaise with the families of clients, participate with the on-call - one in four weekends and support the care manager in any duties required, supporting the management team with auditing and compliance, cover care calls as part of your rota or when sickness and holiday cover is required.
This role will involve using IT systems (for which full training will be provided). Organisational skills and being naturally outgoing are highly desired. The successful Care Supervisor will be someone who can act as a good role model for carers, providing motivation whilst also overseeing the quality of care provided.
