On-Site International are looking for a Senior Authorised Person for a project in Mainz, Germany starting ASAP. Applicants must have a passport that allows them to work in Europe - UK passports no longer act as a valid work permit in the EU. UK passport holding applicants must have a right to work VISA for the relevant country of work.
Rate: €80/hour
Relocation assistance provided
Duties:
- Responsibility for electrical operational safety, switchgear organisation and release processes in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensures that all switching operations, disconnections, work approvals, and energizations are planned, approved, monitored, and documented in accordance with applicable safety rules, the Safe System of Work, and compliant procedures.
- Responsibility for the correct application of procedures for: permit to work, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Control of Hazardous Energies, Energization/Operational Procedures.
- Review, release, and technical control of switching instructions/switching programs for HV and/or LV systems.
- Authorization and coordination of safety-critical switching operations.
- Ensuring that switching operations are only carried out by suitably authorized persons (APs / qualified persons).
- Control of planned shutdowns, switchovers, and commissioning, taking into account safety, availability, and project deadlines.
Hours: 10 hours paid Monday - Friday, 7 hours paid Saturday
Duration: 6 months initially
