On-Site International are looking for x1 Fibre Engineer for a project in Frankfurt, Germany starting ASAP.

Applicants must have a passport that allows them to work in The Netherlands - UK passports no longer act as a valid work permit in the EU. UK passport holding applicants must have a right to work VISA for The Netherlands.

Rate: €45/hour

Duties:

  • Terminate 14 x 1-pair fibre cables at external fibre switch locations
  • Terminate 36 x 1-pair fibre cables at the head end onto 2 x 24-port trays
  • Test 22 x existing fibre cables left in chambers
  • Terminate and test 1 x 8-core fibre cable at both switch ends
  • Carry out fibre splicing on confirmed cores (pending confirmation)
  • Perform all associated fibre testing and certification
  • Complete both internal and external fibre works as required

Hours: 10 hours per day

Duration: 8 days to complete work

Required:

  • ECS/VCA or Safe Pass
  • IPAF (preferred)
  • Splicing machine - essential
  • Calibrated Fluke Tester - essential
