The On-Site Group are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a project at Hounslow.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:
- Identify commercial risks and protect company margin
- Support senior leadership with strategic commercial planning
- Oversee procurement, tendering & subcontractor negotiations
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
- Monitor and report on project costs through all stages
- Assess and understand contracts to identify potential risks and liabilities
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate forecasting and cost control
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Construction processes, regulations, and different building contracts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Educational Background: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field required.
