As a Footwear Quality Assurance specialist, you will manage product quality and process control in collaboration with our manufacturing partners for the next level of On\’s products. You will contribute to relevant quality projects and production compliance improvements. As a key member of the Production team, your base will be in Busan, Korea, with a willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Your Mission
- Risk Identification & Action Planning: Collaborate with development and commercialization teams to identify potential product quality risks during the development stage and define appropriate follow-up actions.
- Quality Improvement: Partner with manufacturing partners to drive continuous improvement from the production trial stage, ensuring quality and efficiency meet On\’s standards.
- Final Product Inspection: Conduct regular final inspections following On\’s Manufacturing Manual to ensure all products meet high standards in appearance and functional performance.
- Testing & Compliance: Ensure all products undergo lab testing and meet physical performance and RSL requirements prior to shipment.
- Customer Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Monitor customer feedback and take corrective actions to promote ongoing product enhancement.
- Sustainability & Compliance Management: Work with manufacturing partners to manage sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in footwear production quality management, with strong attention to detail, function, and quality.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, open mindset, and a drive for excellence and differentiation.
- Ability to balance creativity, structure, and discipline in a fast-paced environment.
- This role is based in Busan, Korea, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
