The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.
We are currently supporting the appointment of a Fire Risk Assessor on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This role will focus on carrying out fire risk assessments across a broad and varied property portfolio including schools, depots, libraries, community buildings and historic buildings across Northumberland.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site fire risk assessments across a wide range of properties
- Identify fire hazards including ignition sources, fuel loads and building vulnerabilities
- Assess fire detection systems, emergency lighting, fire doors, escape routes and compartmentation
- Produce detailed PAS79-1:2020 compliant fire risk assessment reports
- Provide fire safety advice and recommendations to building managers and responsible persons
- Carry out follow-up visits to monitor progress against recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and update fire safety databases
- Support colleagues and share technical fire safety knowledge where required
- Liaise with enforcement agencies and insurers where necessary
