Job Responsibilities:
- All aspects of advice and support under Care Act 2014
- Court applications in the Court of Protection under the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Mental Health Law including advice to Approved Mental Health Professionals and associated court applications
- Adult safeguarding
- Ordinary residence issues and disputes between other local authorities
- Required to cover hearings both remotely and, where required by the court, in person
You must have:
- Qualified Lawyer
- Experience of working directly within a local authority
