Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of the Renters Rights Act 2025 (RRA), ensuring full compliance with statutory obligations, delivery of key milestones, and clear, effective communication and engagement with tenants, landlords, and wider stakeholders.
  • Reporting to the Assistant Director of Regulatory Services, the role will work collaboratively across services including Housing, Finance, Data Intelligence, and Communications to provide effective support to the Assistant Director and the programme working group.
  • The postholder will oversee both strategic and operational planning, ensuring a cohesive and integrated delivery approach. They will play a key role in ensuring that implementation of the RRA across all Council services is comprehensive, well-coordinated, and fully aligned with required standards.

You must have:

  • Experience of working directly within a local authority
  • Previous experience within Housing is essential
