Company Overview

Are you looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to work in a unique, creative and innovative Early Years setting? We are seeking an experienced, level 3 qualified practitioner to be part of an amazing team at a fantastic bilingual nursery located on the Wirral. The setting is rated Outstanding by Ofsted and provides children with the unique opportunity to learn and benefit from being in a bilingual environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily routine of the nursery
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and child families
  • Be an effective key person
  • Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation to Health & Safety and Safeguarding is complied with
  • Ensure all children benefit from diverse and enriching play experiences
  • Assist in planning and implementing age‑appropriate activities
  • Observe, support and extend each child's learning and development and maintain the relevant paperwork
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • An Ofsted recognised Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification
  • Experience of working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
  • Ability to engage and inspire children through creative and stimulating activities
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Safeguarding DBS

Schedule:

35 hours across 4 days per week or 40 hours across 4.5 days per week. Part‑time hours considered and may consider a good Level 2 qualified practitioner who would like to gain their Level 3 qualification. Senior practitioner roles also available.
