OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Stores Person for our client located in Grimsby.
This is a permanent opportunity working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus overtime as and when required.
As the Stores Person, you will be required to provide specialist compliance support to ensure all aspects of quality & compliance systems and processes are maintained in accordance with internal and external stakeholder specifications along with aiding then project team.
Responsibilities
- FLT worksunload deliveries etc and supports any FLT work required on Grimsby site for projects
- Issue stock materials, PPEand consumables to staff making sure all correctly booked out
- Receive and check delivery items against delivery note and book in on Sicon and let job handlers know when orders have arrived and raise any discrepancies with suppliers
- Driving when required , collections / deliveries
- Arrange any tool electrical repairs with supplier and raise orders to cover
- Manage overalls
- Arrange any parcel or pallet deliveries and pack contents accordingly
- Stock Take counts
- Clean vans and general upkeep , adblue, diesel etc
- General housekeeping – keep areas clean and free from any hazards
- Asset Register log
- Report into Stores Lead
- Manage deliveries / collections biffa waste and scrap metal waste
- Manage deliveries / collections fire extinguishers
- Manage deliveries / collections gas bottles
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Administer company systems
- Liaising with the material controller and procurement to ensure traceability/origin of materials and consumables.
- Maintain all plant, ensuring items are PAT Tested, calibrated and inspected and signed for appropriately by the user.
- Support the purchasing function in accordance with business / project budgets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
