A Nationwide Service Provider based in Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire is offering a salary of £27,000 - £30,000 plus door to door pay, on-call, and overtime, potentially reaching £40k - £50k. The package includes a Company Van, Tools, Workwear, and Training.
On joining this business, you will be trained on how to repair and service a wide range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment including load lifters, steps, cranes, ramps, winches, and moving decks, gaining recognised industry certification.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will carry out both planned and unplanned service and breakdown repair to customers' vehicle fleets throughout Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and the local surrounding region. The role will require you to be on-call 1 in 4 weekends and 2 evenings during the week.
You will ideally be qualified in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery, or similar; be comfortable using various hand tools and have some experience in repairing, maintaining, or servicing mechanical equipment. Any prior knowledge or experience of hydraulics and basic fault finding on 12 & 24 volt electrics would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
Previous experience of working on heavy vehicle plant/machinery, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery, compactors, bailers, road sweepers, telehandlers, or similar equipment is a distinct advantage, though not essential.
