Social media is central to the On brand and key to connecting with our communities in a genuine way to communicate our brand mission ‘to ignite the human spirit through movement’. Running is at our core and as we continue to grow we’re looking for an experienced social media creative to bring to life our Running campaigns and athletes stories across Instagram, TikTok, Strava and YouTube. You’ll collaborate with global marketing, strategy, creative, digital and art direction teams to land our key campaigns with our running communities. Reporting to the Lead - Global Social Media, you’ll be key to creating compelling stories for our social channels.

Your Mission

  • Oversee all social media planning from conception to execution for our running campaigns, projects and events.
  • Engage with our target communities through insight‑led social content creation: with an ambition to disrupt run culture and deepen the connection to our athletes.
  • Develop and present brilliant ideas aimed at impacting running culture through social media to internal stakeholders.
  • Brief internal and external creative teams on socially‑native content designed to entertain and be shared whilst maintaining a premium edge.
  • Comfortable capturing or directing content on campaign sets, as well as during live sporting events.
  • Collaborate closely with our internal athlete strategy team to concept and create insight‑led stories with our world‑class portfolio of athletes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to challenge conventions and the status quo, constantly seeking new ideas, methods, and technologies to improve social output.

Your story

  • Expert experience working in a social media content creation role.
  • You may have experience working as a social media manager or social creative / social art director.
  • Passionate about running. You have a deep understanding of what running means to different people of varying abilities, from your everyday runners to elite runners, and everything in between.
  • Comfortable working autonomously with the ability to communicate efficiently with stakeholders of varying seniority.
  • Ability to implement and work towards self‑imposed deadlines and timings that align with wider teams.
  • Live and breathe social media, staying on top of the latest content formats and trends is a must.
  • Proven track record of developing ideas and content strategies to deliver views and engagement across key channels like TikTok, Instagram, Strava and YouTube.
  • Be proactive and collaborative, with experience working in a high‑performing team.
  • Brief and manage external creative partners (photographers, content creators, agencies).
  • Strong communication and writing skills – presenting ideas and plans to marketing, strategy, communication, production and creative teams.
  • You have the desire to produce best‑in‑class content and experience in producing or commissioning content yourself.
