As Senior Lead Art Director, you will lead the creative development and day-to-day delivery of On’s global E-commerce imagery.

Blending strong fashion sensibility with operational leadership, you will translate the overarching image direction into elevated, consistent and effective e-commerce experiences.

You will lead the teams and partners delivering the work, while driving AI-enabled approaches that shape the future of e-commerce image-making at On.

  • Your Mission
  • Lead the day-to-day creative development of global e-commerce, from seasonal planning and briefing through to shoot execution and delivery.
  • Translate the overarching brand image direction into clear casting, styling, movement, photography and image guidelines.
  • Set and maintain a premium creative standard across on-model, still-life and product-detail imagery.
  • Lead project teams and external partners, creating clarity across creative, production, styling, casting, photography and post-production.
  • Bring strong creative judgement to set, making confident decisions and solving challenges independently.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Art Direction to evolve how brand image is experienced across e-commerce.
  • Drive the adoption of AI across e-commerce image-making, developing new workflows and scalable approaches that improve quality, consistency and efficiency.
  • Identify and lead AI pilots from early testing through to practical implementation across production.
  • Explore scalable image solutions for sell-in, working closely with the seasonal creative leads to retain the right product and brand expression.
  • Connect e-commerce with the wider seasonal Apparel world, translating relevant direction from lookbooks, editorial and brand imagery into the channel.
  • Mentor and develop Art Directors working across e-commerce, supporting stronger creative ownership and execution.

  • You bring significant art direction experience from fashion, sportswear, luxury or another highly visual global brand.
  • You have a strong portfolio demonstrating premium fashion and e-commerce image-making.
  • You understand how casting, styling, photography, lighting, movement and post-production work together to create a distinctive image world.
  • You have experience leading complex, high-volume shoots and guiding multidisciplinary creative teams and partners.
  • You combine strong creative instinct with the structure required to deliver consistently at scale.
  • You are confident making decisions, solving problems independently and bringing clarity to fast-moving projects.
  • You have experience with—or a strong ambition to lead—AI-enabled image creation, automation and emerging creative workflows.
  • You understand how a wider seasonal brand direction can be translated into commercially effective customer-facing imagery.

  • About the Team

You will join the Apparel Image team within On’s wider creative organisation.

The team shapes how brand image is experienced across e-commerce, sell-in, seasonal editorial and lookbook touchpoints, building a connected and distinctive image world around the product.

Reporting to the Head of Art Direction, you will lead e-commerce and its future transformation while partnering closely with Art Direction, Apparel Design, Production, Digital and external creative teams.

Together, you will help define a more premium, scalable and innovative approach to Apparel image-making at On.
