Position Details:
- Position Type: 1 year contract assignment with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
- Job Location: Marlborough, MA
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Benefits: 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, PTO
- Compensation: $34.50/HR
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on laboratory work using a variety of analytical techniques, including SEM, XRF, XRD, wet chemistry, and surface analysis.
- Execute electroplating and electrochemistry experiments (hands-on experience strongly preferred).
- Conduct experiments independently, including electroplating, wet chemistry formulation, chemical analysis, and device functional testing.
- Support application testing of electronic devices (preferred).
- Apply knowledge of corrosion science or surface science (preferred).
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools or certification (preferred).
- Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines.
- Communicate research findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Demonstrate curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about the electronics industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (preferred).
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in the chemical industry or a similar environment.
- Strong bias for action with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented, results-driven team player.
- Commitment to core safety values and ethical conduct.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; English fluency required.
