Production Shift Manager - Panama Schedule in Middlesbrough

We are seeking aProduction Managerto join our team, with salary dependent on experience. Working in a small team, you will oversee daily production lines to ensure high-quality food-to-go products with minimal interruptions. Responsibilities include managing rotas, HR processes, and keeping training up to date. Thisfast-paced, hands-on rolerequires experience in a production environment, ideally in food.

The day starts at 6am, finish times vary with production volumes, and this role operates on a Panama shift pattern, involving rotating shifts on a bi-weekly basis.

Whatyou'llbe doing:

• Oversee smooth running of the business by coordinating stock, production, picking, and dispatch with department leaders

• Ensure stock levels meet requirements,maintainingproduct quality and minimizing waste

• Lead andpromote a strongfood safety culture, ensuring traceability and compliance with BRC and company procedures

• Manage staffing rotas, cover, HR processes (interviews, disciplinary, absence reviews), inductions, and training

• Liaise with Production Supervisors, team leaders, and other departments to ensure efficient food-to-go production

• Attend management meetings, set a positive example for staff, and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations
