The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.
As a Hygiene Operative you will be responsible for a variety of tasks from general sweeping and cleaning to disassembling production belts and machinery and deep cleaning to a very high standard ensuring that all services are fully sanitised. Current working hours are approx. 7pm to 3am, (this may change depending on the needs of the business) working 5 shifts over a 7-day rotation which includes weekends.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning to a very high standard ensuring all machinery are free of any contamination.
- Food Hygiene standards to be maintained to a very high standard.
- To report any damage discovered whilst cleaning, including any damage to the belts, machinery or equipment.
- Ensure that all production waste is removed and disposed of appropriately.
- Make sure all appropriate sign off documentation is signed when all cleaning tasks have been completed.
Key Skills
- Proven experience relating to Hygiene cleaning is an advantage.
- Able to understand Good manufacturing practices.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of site hygiene and health and safety.
- Clear communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Previous experience with cleaning chemicals and COSHH procedures.
Candidates must be flexible, hard-working and possess a positive attitude to work, and have an excellent work ethic.
