Lead the integration of exploration, near-field opportunities and existing discoveries into a coherent development concept for Neptun Deep. Advise senior management team on work program optionality ahead of next license expiry, and take leading role in both negotiations and JV alignment.

Specific focus on optimization, technology, innovation and new ways of working; delivery of the offshore development plans with responsibility for ensuring maximum value extraction from the area through robust front end loading (FEL). The Senior Advisor will lead the Assess and Select phase work, making the necessary key decisions identified in framing, through integrating sub-surface, wells and facilities functions to ultimately deliver a preliminary Field Development Plan.

Manage early appraisal and development concept screening, such that project schedules can be optimized and first hydrocarbons accelerated, without jeopardising OMVP core values and HSSE principles. Provide technical leadership for geoscientists, engineers and project managers, responsible for exploration, appraisal, development, projects. Ensure integration of functions and take active role in staff development.

Develop relationships with key service providers, oversee 3rd party work where required – ensure performance, schedule and costs. Decide on innovative procedures, guidelines and policies in his area of expertise. Act within clearly defined annual goals; ways and procedures to reach these goals can be decided by the role.

Advise senior technical expertise for strong, international offshore background, experience in challenging JVs and a desire to innovate. Significantly influence area of opportunity management with full operational freedom, promoting new ways of working and when required take a hands-on role.

Your profile

  • Relevant professional experience: > 15 years International experience, ideally to include 2-3 years with operator outside of OMV Group.
  • Management roles: with >10 years of leadership.
  • Solid leadership skills, results driven, proactive and high autonomy, lateral thinking, flexible and pro-active.
  • Strong surface and development/concept engineering background, experience in oil and gas operations as well as technology management and development of advantage.
  • Proven track record in value engineering, project optimization, new technology and innovation.
  • Strong communicator, proven leader, also comfortable working independently on specific tasks.
