We are hiring an Operations Manager to take ownership of our inventory, supply chain and operational efficiency. You will manage purchasing and production with manufacturers in the US and China, forecast demand, monitor finished goods and packaging inventory, and work closely with Marketing to anticipate changes in sales.
- You will own inventory planning across DTC, Amazon, retail and our warehouse network.
- Maintain accurate SKU-level inventory visibility across all channels.
- Forecast demand, inventory cover and reorder requirements.
- Identify potential stock-outs and excess inventory well in advance.
- Monitor production, freight and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms and volume discounts.
- This includes bottles, labels, boxes, inserts and shipping materials.
- Monitor areas including manufacturing, packaging, freight, duties, warehousing and fulfilment.
- Find opportunities to improve freight, packaging, production and fulfilment costs.
- You should have a relentless focus on sensible savings without compromising quality or reliability.
- As the business scales, you will make our operations increasingly robust and use AI and software to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Strong operations, supply chain or inventory experience within eCommerce, DTC or consumer products is required. Strong demand-planning and forecasting skills are essential. Experience managing inventory across multiple channels and locations is necessary. A commercial understanding of COGS, gross margin and working capital is important. You should be comfortable using AI and modern software to improve forecasting and processes.
