OMODA Motors is a new brand built by Chery Group, which is a leading Chinese automobile company. OMODA operates individually from other brands of Chery Group. Its business scope covers the R&D, production and sales of passenger cars. Role overview: This role has been created thanks to the rapid expansion of OJUK’s operation and the introduction of a third brand into our portfolio; Chery UK. You will be responsible for the development of end corporate client relationships and turning prospective corporate customers into purchasing corporate customers. Key responsibilities include the management of a large territory, primarily the North of mainland UK. You will target Corporate, mid-sized and larger SME companies who have a requirement for company cars or salary sacrifice offerings and ensure they are aware of both OJUK & Chery UK brands and their products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets, both in terms of units and margin contribution.
- Achieve activity targets with regards to engagements, client visits, demo fleet utilisation, agreement implementation and others.
- Identify and build relationships with UK corporate entities to convert them into purchasing customers.
- Work closely with the Leasing team, Virtual Account Managers, Fleet Marketing team & other stakeholders to ensure all leads presented are promptly followed up on.
- Identify opportunities to revise client pricing structures to maximise revenue and gross profit.
- Ensure all clients are fully informed about the latest offerings from OJUK & Chery UK.
- Support with events for the fleet team and customer specific activities.
- Act as the Voice of the Corporate Customer within OJUK to ensure their requirements and feedback are represented.
- Build strong effective internal relationships with all key internal stakeholders.
- Support Fleet Marketing, Leasing Team and Corporate Sales Manager in other ad hoc tasks and events.
- Foster local sales growth through the franchised dealer network.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a corporate sales manager or account manager in a B2B role in automotive sales.
- Experience and confidence in presenting to and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in consistently achieving sales and activity targets.
- Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Tenacious in lead follow up and CRM activities.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer skills and proficient in all Microsoft applications including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ideally a strong understanding of company car policies.
