The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across all areas of HR, ensuring efficient delivery of HR processes and a positive employee experience. This is a hands-on role ideal for a graduate or junior professional looking to develop a career in HR within a dynamic and growing organisation.
- HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle
- Maintain accurate employee records on HR systems
- Assist with probation tracking, contract changes, and employee status updates
- Manage HR inbox and respond to routine employee queries in a timely manner
- Assist in preparing interview packs and tracking recruitment progress
- Support monthly payroll preparation, including data collection and validation
- Assist with benefits administration (e.g. pension, insurance, car schemes)
- Track employee absences, annual leave, and other HR metrics
- Ensure HR documentation is compliant with UK employment legislation and company policies
- Support implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection in line with GDPR
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and surveys
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and Admin function
- Support the coordination and administration of training programmes and learning initiatives
- Maintain training records and monitor employee training completion
- Support onboarding training plans and induction programmes for new joiners
- Assist in tracking learning needs and development plans in collaboration with managers
- Provide administrative support for performance management and development-related processes
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Previous HR internship or administrative experience
Familiarity with HR systems
