Omoda Jaecoo is gaining traction fast in the UK market, with the Jaecoo 7 leading Chinese car sales in recent months. If you're ready to sell vehicles that combine style, performance, and smart tech this is the role for you. Sandown Group are looking for a Transaction Manager to join the Basingstoke team and represent the full Omoda Jaecoo range including the popular Jaecoo 7.
You will support customers in exploring these modern, tech-forward vehicles and guide them through the buying process. The purpose of the Transaction Manager is to create an engaging retail experience for new and used car buyers so that the customer does not buy a car from anywhere but Sandown. The Transaction Manager is responsible for enhancing customer relationships and progressing the sale of the car, F&I, service plans and accessories. Crucial to this role is an ability to gain customer trust and build loyalty to Sandown.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide class leading customer service
- Ensure sales process is adhered to
- Distribute and manage leads with sales executives
- Have detailed knowledge of every enquiry
- Encourage appointments at the showroom
- Second face every customer
- Ensure follow up after enquiry, in line with Sandown SLAs
- Produce finance quotes and proposals
- Appraise Part exchanges and provide valuations
- Assist with the sale of the car, accessories, paint protection and insurance products
- Close sales
- Report to line manager on deal-by-deal basis on all income generated
- Conduct regular diary reviews
- Mentor and Develop team of Sales Executives
- Identify renewal opportunities from existing Sandown customers
You will require a high level of attention to detail; be FCA accredited: knowledge of finance and related systems; knowledge of insurance products; understanding of car valuations and advanced negotiation skills.
The showroom is open from 08.00 - 18.30 Monday to Friday, Saturday 08:30 17:00 and Sunday 10:00 16:00. Weekend work on a rota basis will be required, however, a 5-day week will be worked. Total: 42.5 hours per week.
