About the Role
This is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Bristol for a Junior Professional Indemnity Underwriter.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and pricing professional indemnity risks for SME and commercial clients.
- Analysing insurance applications, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with the Professional Indemnity underwriting team, Operations, and client relationship management.
- Contribute to driving growth and building strong client and partner relationships.
- Adhere to regulatory and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- 2‑5 years underwriting or insurance experience, with basic understanding of Professional Indemnity insurance and underwriting principles.
- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in documentation and record‑keeping, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn, coupled with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Relevant qualifications such as progress toward a CII diploma, or a degree in business, finance, or a related discipline, are advantageous.
