A leading Fire & Security company is looking for Fire & Security Engineers to join their growing team. These roles are biased towards security but will involve some fire systems work. If you're experienced in security systems and open to developing your fire skills, this could be an excellent opportunity.
The role involves a combination of 70% service and 30% installation across a variety of commercial projects nationwide. Working from home before traveling to sites nationwide, so minimal office attendance is required.
Benefits:- £30,000 – £40,000 basic salary
- Travel time payments (excluding first and last 15 miles of the day)
- Fuel Card & Expenses
- Overtime available
- Call-out rota (mainly remote work)
- Company mobile phone, laptop, drills, and uniform
- Vehicle provided
- Service, install and commission security and fire systems (70% service, 30% install)
- Work primarily on Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Fire Alarms, with some Access Control, Gates and Barriers
- Maintain and troubleshoot security and fire systems at commercial sites nationwide
- Keep accurate service reports and ensure compliance with company standards
- Occasionally attend remote call-outs outside standard working hours
- Help your licence for over 1 year (insurance requirement)
- Strong experience in security systems (CCTV & intruder alarms) with willingness to learn fire systems
- Technical experience with the following manufacturers:
- CCTV: Hikvision (essential)
- Intruder alarms: Galaxy (essential), Pyronix, HKC
- Fire alarms: CTEC, Gent, Kentec
- Access control: Paxton
