Omnis Partners is supporting a high-growth healthtech business building mission-critical software used across UK primary care. They’re hiring a Staff Product Engineer to take ownership of complex product areas and work closely with Product from the earliest stages of problem definition through to delivery. This is a highly hands-on role. You’ll spend most of your time coding, primarily across the backend, while contributing across the full stack where needed.
The environment: PHP, Symfony, Doctrine, PostgreSQL, Vue.js
They’re looking for someone with:
- Strong experience building complex B2B or enterprise products
- Deep PHP knowledge, ideally with Symfony and Doctrine
- Strong relational database and performance experience
- Experience solving problems across the full stack
- A product mindset and comfort working with ambiguity
- The communication skills to influence technical and product decisions
- Experience with DDD, CQRS, integrations or regulated software would be useful, but they’re also open to strong engineers who can adapt quickly.
The team is small, highly capable and deliberately light on unnecessary process. Engineers have genuine ownership and are expected to contribute before a finished specification exists.
Location: Central London
Working pattern: Mainly onsite Monday–Thursday, with Friday remote
Options: Three-, four- or five-day working weeks
You must already have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available.
