We’re supporting a highly PE-backed Professional Services organisation building cloud-native, AI-enabled applications within tax advisory. This is a hands-on engineering role sitting within a cross-functional delivery squad. You will be building backend APIs and deploying them into a modern AWS + Kubernetes environment.
- Building backend APIs in Python (FastAPI ideally)
- Working with PostgreSQL
- Deploying services into AWS (EKS preferred)
- Managing container workloads in Kubernetes
- Building infrastructure with Terraform
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Shipping production-grade cloud-native applications
Requirements:
- Strong Python backend development experience
- API development (FastAPI highly desirable)
- Solid SQL / PostgreSQL knowledge
- AWS experience (EKS ideal)
- Kubernetes deployment experience
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- CI/CD automation experience
Nice to have:
