We are looking for an experienced customer service professional to join our telephone account management team. You will have a working knowledge of the protection sector (including health insurance) and have worked with advisers along with having a passion for delivering a great service.

Role overview
In essence, you will be working in a team who provide a one-stop shop for intermediaries with protection questions. Most queries will come in via inbound calls and the role is a great training ground for aspiring protection account managers.

The ideal candidate will use a range of interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of ideas and negotiate verbal agreements with a panel of accounts. You will be driven to make a positive difference for both Omni Protect and its members.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with a portfolio of advisers, providing regular support and promoting Omni Protect propositions.
- Sales & Promotion: Communicate the value and distinct benefits of Omni Protect’s protection proposition to advisers, driving increased business and ensuring sales targets are met.
- Client Engagement: Use telephony, social media, online presentations, and email marketing to engage advisers and maximize sales opportunities.
- Influence: Use strong communication skills to negotiate agreements and deliver best outcomes with advisers.
- Strategic Contributions: Actively contribute to Omni Protect’s protection sales targets and volume targets through strategic account management.
- Data Analysis: Use data to analyse account performance, identify growth opportunities, and make informed business decisions.
- Technology & Referral Enablement: Develop a strong understanding of Omni Protect’s technology solutions and referral pathways, and confidently engage with members to identify opportunities, generate leads, and promote the most suitable referral options.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience
- Protection Expertise: Previous experience in financial services sales, particularly in the protection sector, is desirable.
- Telephone Customer Service: within financial services.
- Sales: Demonstrable experience in a sales environment, particularly within financial services and the protection market.
Skills
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with excellent networking and collaboration skills.
- Analytical Thinking: Adept at analysing and interpreting data to support decision-making and optimise business outcomes.
Approach to work

Location
This is a remotely based role but if you like working from the office, you could work from our Huddersfield HQ from time to time.
