JOB SUMMARY:
We are hiring for a highly client-facing Project Manager to lead delivery across a key global FMCG account. Reporting into the Group Client Services Director, you will act as a senior point of contact for the client and play a critical role in shaping and delivering best-in-class production solutions at scale. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will represent Omnicom Production in front of senior stakeholders, partnering closely with global and regional teams to drive the rollout and evolution of production studio models across multiple markets. You’ll be responsible for managing complex, high-volume content pipelines across channels – from digital and social to ecommerce and video – ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and adherence to global brand standards. The role requires a deep understanding of advertising production workflows, the ability to navigate matrixed teams, and confidence operating within a demanding, high-output FMCG environment where pace, precision and stakeholder management are critical.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the day-to-day senior contact for the client, building trusted relationships with both global and local stakeholders.
- Lead regular status calls and reviews, maintaining clear visibility of delivery, risks, and priorities.
- Manage ongoing client communication, responding to ad hoc requests and proactively updating on studio status and performance.
- Own status tracking, ensuring actions are clearly recorded, followed up and delivered.
- Translate client needs into actionable production plans, managing expectations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Confidently challenge and influence stakeholders when required, ensuring the best outcomes for both client and business.
- End-to-End Production & Project Delivery
- Own the delivery of multi-channel content projects across digital, social, ecommerce, and video.
- Manage complex production workflows across multiple markets, ensuring consistency and adherence to global brand guidelines.
- Oversee timelines, scope, and deliverables across high-volume content production.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and efficiencies across the production lifecycle.
- Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage project finances end-to-end including SOW creation, PO management, scoping, and budget tracking.
- Oversee financial management of in-house studios, including rate setting, forecasting monthly team costs and tracking invoicing status.
- Ensure all financial processes are followed across platforms such as Workfront and Vantage.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining strong financial governance.
- Monitor team resourcing and utilisation, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining delivery quality.
- Support forecasting, revenue tracking and commercial reporting for the account.
- Studio Growth & Global Rollout
- Support the continued development and scaling of global and regional production studios.
- Lead the setup and rollout of new in-house client design studios across multiple markets.
- Partner with local agencies to align on roles, rate cards and studio structures.
- Drive best practice ways of working across studios, leading regular creative, process and performance reviews.
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies, innovation, and improved ways of working.
- Contribute to long-term roadmap planning for studio expansion and capability development.
- Resourcing & Team Collaboration
- Partner with production leads and talent teams to identify and onboard the right skills and capabilities.
- Lead recruitment for new studios and ongoing hiring needs, including briefing roles, screening portfolios and supporting interview processes.
- Manage onboarding of new team members, ensuring smooth integration into studio teams.
- Oversee contract extensions and ongoing resourcing across existing studios.
- Act as a key point of contact for in-house teams, supporting day-to-day operations and resolving issues.
- Facilitate regular team sessions including project management drop-ins to support alignment and collaboration.
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused culture across global teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in advertising production project management, ideally within an agency or production environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end content production, across digital, social, ecommerce, and video.
- Experience working on high-volume, fast-turnaround content for global FMCG or similarly complex clients.
- Confident in managing multiple stakeholders across global, regional and local markets.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget management, scoping, and financial tracking.
- Experience working with production workflows, content pipelines and asset management systems.
- Familiarity with tools such as Workfront, Vantage or similar workflow/project management platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident, resilient and solutions-driven with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Strong technical proficiency across systems, trackers, and operational tools.
