Our team of Annalectuals is growing rapidly and are based in over 80 countries around the globe, supported by global and regional team hubs in NY, London, Singapore, Gurgaon, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

The EMEA team is responsible for global and regional relationships clients led from London, as well as the development of new data-driven marketing capabilities.

They form part of our global team and collaborate closely with local market Annalect teams across EMEA as well as regional Omnicom agency partners.

This role is perfect for an experienced analyst, with existing capabilities like MMM, attribution or advance optimisation of media plans, that wants to broaden their technical capabilities and progress towards the path of a manager in the regional Data Science team.

Whilst the focus of the role is measurement-based analytics, as part of the Data Science team there will also be the opportunity to work on broader data science projects that can enhance and innovate our solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead in delivering analyses to clients across variety of solutions, e. g. MMM, attribution, and media plan optimisations.
  • As lead analyst on projects, dictate the standards of delivery, ensuring that we are best in class for a specific client.
  • Managing project dependencies and deliverables on a day to day for existing client projects.
  • Become an expert, both technically and in client delivery, on new solutions that are being developed by the Data Science team.
  • Contribute to our Data Science innovation pipeline: work hand in hand with Data Science colleagues and other Annalectuals on product vision, product specs, testing features, and help inform the direction of innovation pipeline as a key stakeholder in the innovation tracks. (E. g. – we have several pieces of code in Python and R that are in development, and the senior analyst would take the current solution, test, collate feedback, understand the gaps, and work with the manager and director to define improvements, and work with fellow data scientists to ensure those are in development and tracked.

The senior analyst might also be assigned some of these tickets where their technical skill is appropriate and personal development is aligned).

  • Effectively communicate marketing science/data science concepts and the results of analyses to both internal, and client teams
  • Attend training sessions, seminars and workshops, and generally be abreast to the latest in tracking, measurement, mar-tech and ad-tech space.
  • Role model and proponent to junior analysts in the team with a view to developing more formal line management in future as the Data Science team continues to grow

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Enjoys being hands on in analysis, understanding the marketing funnel and how it relates to KPIs and optimisation and planning processes.
  • Experience working with reach curves.
  • Enjoys tinkering and creating custom agents to improve processes and work flows
  • Has keen eye on bringing analysis to life.
  • Working experience with R, Eviews, or VBA Excel.
  • Interest in broadening skillset in R and Python and other technologies that become relevant to the role in future.
  • Good grasp of statistical and optimisation techniques and bringing value to clients.
  • Experience running a project as lead analyst, supporting junior team members and ensuring deliverables are of a sufficiently high standard and timelines are met.
  • Minimum three years in a media agency or an internal marketing analytics team or equivalent.
  • Familiar with Google suite of advertising tools, e. g. including CM and GA360.
  • Possess business acumen and ability to work in ever-changing environment.
  • Have serviced internal and / or external commercial clients.
  • Hungry for creating something new and making a mark.
  • Strong presentation skills written and verbal; client and internal facing.
