You will largely support the Account Managers and Account Directors in the day-to-day running of their accounts but for any smaller accounts assigned to you, you will ensure that our clients are serviced in a proactive, professional and timely manner. By executing strong project and process management, you will also work closely with the internal craft teams to ensure smooth delivery of all planned tasks, reporting progress back to the account leads and clients on a consistent basis.

You will be a highly organised individual that takes pride in all elements of your work, ensuring that all internal documents are updated on a weekly basis and that any outward-facing documentation is delivered in accordance with the business’ brand and customer service guidelines. Given that people interaction also plays a pivotal part in your role, you will build strong relationships both internally and externally. With your clients, you will meet with them on a frequent basis, both informally and formally, and internally, you will be pragmatic in nature to always ensure the best outcome for your clients.

As a secondary KPI, you will also learn how to commercially grow your assigned accounts, dedicating time to learning about our wider business offerings and getting up to speed with everything that’s going on in the industry, to start putting forward cross and upsell opportunity suggestions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Expertise: Commitment to learn about the many digital channels we work across (PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Social and Programmatic), keeping up to date with the latest industry news and developments as the landscape continues to change. Develop full working knowledge of our key reporting and tracking tools, as well as have good Excel and PowerPoint skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, in order to effectively contribute to managing client accounts and their expectations.
  • Account/Client Management: Fulfil relevant daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks, ensuring that all campaigns are executed to plan and meet the targets. Work with the wider teams to ensure that campaign/project timelines, cost estimates, schedules and forecasts are accurately adhered to and ensure reporting is accurate and assist with developing presentations to the highest level of quality and integrity. Help in preparing strategies and plans across multiple digital channels. Help in preparing performance review presentations. Develop and distribute accurate contact reports and minutes from any relevant meetings and conversations. Coordinate and distribute regular status reports. Complete timesheets on a regular, minimum weekly basis. Meet commitments and complete tasks as agreed and within agreed timeframes. Keep clients and account teams updated on the status of account activities.
  • Innovation & Initiative: Act as the account support (and lead in some instances on smaller accounts) to motivate the wider team to produce best-in-class results. Use your personal passion and creativity to help develop intelligent, innovative and effective ideas to improve projects and tasks. Contribute your own ideas and opinions on your client’s business, how we work, and the industry we’re in. Familiarise yourself with the client’s business, its products and services and the industry in which it operates, and analyse present and potential marketing opportunities for such products and services.
