We're looking for an experienced and confident Account Director to join our Rights Consultancy team, working across European football partnerships for two major global brands. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sponsorship and partnership marketing environment and is passionate about delivering best-in-class activation programmes. You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the strategic planning and delivery of complex partnership campaigns while managing relationships with multiple rights holders and agency partners.
Working across a range of projects spanning purpose-led activations, digital content, events and hospitality, experiential campaigns, and employee engagement programmes, you'll play a key role in ensuring partnerships deliver meaningful business outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the day-to-day management and strategic delivery of sponsorship and partnership programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, rights holders, and agency partners.
- Translate client objectives into integrated activation plans that align with wider brand and sponsorship strategies.
- Drive the activation of partnership assets across multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing strategic counsel and ensuring exceptional account delivery.
- Manage campaign delivery from planning through to execution, reporting, and evaluation.
- Identify opportunities to grow client accounts through additional projects and services.
- Oversee significant project budgets, financial reporting, and scope management.
- Support talent and ambassador relationships, including contractual appearances, approvals, logistics, and briefing processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, creating opportunities for growth and progression.
- Champion collaborative and efficient ways of working across internal and external teams.
- Contribute to agency initiatives and support new business opportunities where relevant.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience within partnership marketing, sponsorship, communications, sport marketing, or entertainment marketing.
- Strong knowledge of the sponsorship landscape and how partnerships contribute to wider marketing objectives.
- Experience activating high-profile partnerships and working with major rights holders.
- Exposure to football partnerships and premium sports properties is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience managing senior client relationships and influencing key stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop compelling client recommendations.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
