About the Role:

The Allwyn @ Hearts pioneering operating model has been designed with the following in mind:

  • In a world where there are always multiple decisions and plans to be activated each week, short-term pressures can cause focus to move away from the medium and long term.
  • True agility is not always spontaneous; it requires operational design, process, technology, and a framework for decision making.
  • Genuine business transformation simply doesn't happen without focus, effort, inspiration, and the application of the right specialist skills.

Therefore, for us to excel, we need to help Allwyn succeed against all three areas simultaneously. The operating model is designed around 2 key hubs, Design & Delivery. These hubs have been recently streamlined (from 3) to ensure that long-term, mid-range & short-term priorities all benefit from clear focus, the right capabilities, and make progress simultaneously. Each hub has a purpose-built set of capabilities and talent, alongside clear deliverables.

This role would sit in the Delivery hub, parallel to the Digital Activation Lead, and reporting into the overarching Delivery Lead that sits across all.

Delivery Hub:

We believe that great strategic thinking and media planning is nothing unless it is accurately and effectively made real in market. The best environments, brand safe, at the right time & right price. The hub is purposely designed to deliver against Allwyn’s unique requirements and goes beyond expert traders and channel practitioners to include workflow management to co-ordinate & control rollover activity & plans. A dedicated QA and compliance function ensuring faultless placement, effective automated reporting, and partner relationships.

Delivery Hub Superpower:

  • Obsessed with optimisation and driving every inch of value from our investment.
  • Relentlessly focused on accuracy and quality of placement.
  • Seamless workflows and organisational excellence delivered at pace.
  • Ensuring our media partners are as passionate about The National Lottery as we are.

Capability blend:

  • Traded Media delivery experts
  • Automated reporting and reporting lead
  • Investment integration
  • Driving cross-channel optimisation and tactical plan co-ordination
  • Compliance and QA
  • Workflow management
  • Faultless finance process and attention to detail

You will be a strong relationship builder with experience of working with clients and agency teams. As Allwyn’s Offline Activation lead, you will lead the day-to-day output across AV, OOH & Publishing media, as well as ensure synergy with your digital activation counterpart.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with specialist activation teams to ensure Allwyn campaigns (AV, Publishing, OOH) are delivered to meet client objectives and contractual buying commitments.
  • Continually improve efficiencies across the full portfolio of games including Euromillions, Lotto, Stripe, Set for Life, Instant Win Games & Scratchcards.
  • Working closely with the Digital Activation Lead to deliver a holistic approach to activation, developing innovative and market-leading solutions and optimal media performance across all AV/OOH & Publishing channels.
  • Direct input to AV, Publishing and OOH teams to ensure alignment and best-in-class campaigns that adhere to strict Allwyn and OM compliance standards.
  • Actively liaising with all Hearts departments and disciplines to contribute to forward-thinking AV, Publishing and OOH activation teams, showcasing knowledge, tool usage, data-led activation planning, best-in-class campaign delivery and partner innovation.
  • Working with senior agency partners (Hearts, OM and external media vendors) to deliver bespoke, new to market opportunities deep-rooted in the client’s business needs.
  • Being a senior investment representative across AV, Publishing and OOH channels where needed.
  • Having a market-leading knowledge of the AV landscape as well as a strong understanding of digital media and the interplay, especially in the video space.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in the market but also OM and being an expert source of knowledge, providing useful output for the client on a regular basis.
  • Inspiring specialist activation teams in their use of OM owned and partner tools and solutions to derive greater insight, efficiencies and outcomes of all media.
  • Understanding trading deals across all channels and having a valid POV in investment meetings (internal & client).
  • Being commercially aware of all client & internal requirements and striking a balance where required to deliver against targets, value levers and commercial goals.
  • Ensuring best practice finance process is in place, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of aged debt, unbilled and late bookings.
  • Supporting leadership and finance on client forecasts, activity trackers and finance queries.
