The Head of SEO/SEO Partner is responsible for managing SEO efforts across clients, ensuring best-in-class performance, collaboration with broader media teams and innovation in the wider agency’s SEO approaches. You will lead a team of SEO specialists, develop cutting-edge search strategies and ensure seamless integration with other digital marketing channels.
With a strong balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking and commercial acumen, the Head of SEO plays a key role in positioning the agency as a market leader in organic search. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking SEO leader who is passionate about driving business impact through search and shaping the future of organic marketing within a media agency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Define and implement best-in-class SEO strategies that drive client success and align with overall digital marketing objectives
•Oversee the development and implementation of SEO roadmaps, constantly improving technical SEO, on-page strategies and content alignment
•Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients and other stakeholders, ensuring long-term retention and satisfaction and provide data-backed insights and recommendations to enhance performance
•Serve as the key point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and SEO insights
•Take responsibility, alongside the Managing Partner, for the P&L of the SEO/Organic Performance department, ensuring commercial targets are managed and met
•Inspire and educate clients about the evolving SEO landscape and how it can drive their business goals
•Identify and develop new SEO opportunities, contribute to pitches and drive revenue growth
•Collaborate with cross-channel teams to deliver holistic, integrated solutions that drive search visibility, authority and rank
•Champion SEO internally, ensuring alignment with broader media planning and digital strategies
•Stay ahead of search trends, algorithm updates and emerging technologies to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of SEO innovation
•Manage new business requirements alongside the Managing Partner
•Build a successful, motivated team, encouraging collaboration and integration within Agency and across the wider Omnicom Media Group
