Reporting into the Manchester Biddable Director, you’ll work closely with teams across OMG UK agencies and Centres of Excellence to support the delivery of best-in-class biddable campaigns for clients across the group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a uniquely positioned Manchester team, offering the chance to work across some of the world’s biggest brands from within a talented and experienced Manchester OMGUK biddable team. Being a fluid role, working with a variety of agencies and clients, an enthusiasm to embrace change is key. You will be comfortable working autonomously and able to effectively create and prioritise workload, showing initiative by establishing defined processes and ways of working with OMGUK teams outside of Manchester. As an experienced biddable practitioner, you will demonstrate an excellent understanding and genuine interest in advertising, media and technology and will show a commitment to ongoing professional development through both practical and theoretical learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day deliverables across the team to ensure the effective implementation of overarching channel strategy and drive innovation.
- Lead response to briefs, coordinating across the biddable team and collaborating with wider channel teams as required.
- Create media plans with clear rationale on media choices and budget allocations.
- Ensure campaigns are built and activated on time, aligned with wider media plans and flighting.
- Implement processes and ensure team adherence to ensure campaign setup, budgets and pacing accuracy.
- Analyse and optimise across live accounts daily to ensure performance is aligned to core KPIs, providing performance insights to the client and internal teams.
- Implement a structured test and learn schedule, regularly running multivariate experiments and building on learnings to inform future campaign testing.
- Coordinate and present weekly reports, PCAs and QBRs to agency teams and clients.
- Facilitate the smooth administration of monthly financial reconciliation across the team.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external teams.
- Work closely with media owners to drive forward feature adoption and media maturity.
- Regularly share latest channel news and developments with the wider team.
- Travel to London or Newcastle when necessary.
About You
- Experience managing paid search and/or paid social campaigns in an agency environment, ideally network agency or large independent.
- Understanding of the broader digital spectrum, marketing mix & media planning process.
- Experience line managing or mentoring entry level team members.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills to effectively articulate and present to a wide range of stakeholders.
- An analytical mind, able to work with large data sets to identify the drivers behind data trends.
- Strong attention to detail to complete tasks in an accurate manner and spot key detail within large sets of qualitative and quantitative information.
- Effective organisation skills, able to multi-task, plan and prioritise own & team workload.
- Experience working within a variety of ad buying platforms and/or third party bid management platforms.
- Experience working with ad serving platforms and ads trafficking processes.
- Understanding of on-site analytics and platforms – Google, Adobe Analytics.
