Overview
We are looking for an experienced media professional to join our Client Team within the MG OMD Government Media department. The Client Team delivers best-in-class client servicing and account management across a wide range of government clients, ensuring campaigns run smoothly from briefing through measurement and evaluation. The successful candidate will work predominantly across the Recruitment hub, collaborating with implementational planning, media channel specialists and effectiveness managers to deliver effective campaigns and build strong client partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Provide account management and client servicing across government accounts, ensuring campaigns run smoothly from brief to measurement and evaluation.
- Collaborate with OmniGOV teams including implementational planning, media channel specialists and effectiveness managers to manage campaign delivery.
- Understand clients’ strategic objectives and identify how media buying can improve outcomes, forming strong business partnerships.
- Work across the Recruitment hub with briefs from departments such as Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence, Met Police and Department for Education; contribute to attention and behaviour change to drive better outcomes.
- Support the MG OMD Planning team by sharing great work, ideas, and supporting new business opportunities.
- Supervise and develop junior team members to ensure smooth day-to-day activity.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Personable, highly organised, with a strong track record in account management.
- Experience managing more junior team members to ensure day-to-day activities run smoothly.
- Ability to work across a broad range of high-profile government departments and campaigns (e.g., Department for Education, DHSC, Ministry of Justice, NHS).
- Flexible and collaborative mindset with good communication skills for cross-team coordination.
Working Arrangements
Flexible Working: we support hybrid working (three days in the office, two remote). Working hours are 9:30–17:30 with core hours 10:30–16:30 to provide flexibility. Examples: start at 8:30 and finish at 16:30, or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
