The opportunity: As an Associate Creative Director, you play a central role in shaping the creative direction of the agency’s most important work. You lead and inspire teams across projects — bringing strategic clarity, conceptual rigour and craft excellence to everything we produce. You collaborate closely with Art Directors, Writers, Strategists and Client Partners to deliver ideas that are bold, beautifully executed, and grounded in real-world insight. Whether building out a creative platform, leading a pitch, or mentoring junior creatives, you set the tone for high-quality thinking and a supportive, inspiring culture. You understand the nuances of healthcare and bring creative ambition to every brief — always pushing for ideas that connect, move and make things happen.

What we’ll need you to do:
- Creativity

- Collaborate with Strategists, Client Partners and Scientific Directors to ensure ideas are rooted in strong thinking
- Elevate the creative standard through clear direction, constructive feedback, and inspiration
- Challenge and refine creative briefs to unlock better outcomes
- Identify and develop new creative opportunities within existing accounts and new business
- Bring fresh thinking to how we visualise, write, and deliver stories in a regulated space
- Use AI tools to enhance creative outputs and encourage innovation within your team
- Contribute to and participate in agency goals
- Possess a growth mindset
- Lead the smooth running of creative work across your Business Unit and support the Copy Leadership team with the smooth-running of the wider copy team
- Oversee team resourcing, scopes of work, and creative planning in collaboration with Operations
- Manage time, deadlines and project priorities with clarity and efficiency
- Remain calm under pressure, focusing on solutions rather than challenges
- Maintain a high level of quality across deliverables — balancing speed with craft
- Act as a trusted contact for Project Managers and department leads to ensure work stays on track
- Have a flexible approach to work and shifting deadlines
- Complete timesheets promptly and ensure your team does the same
- Build trusted relationships with clients, providing creative leadership that’s both inspiring and commercially focused
- Present work with confidence and clarity—explaining rationale, addressing feedback, and guiding conversations
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment where people feel supported and empowered
- Mentor junior creatives and support their growth through coaching, feedback and encouragement
- Partner with other department leads to bring cohesion and energy to the creative process
