The Opportunity

As an Account Director at DDB Remedy you’ll be the voice of the client within the agency and the voice of the agency with the client. You’ll operate commercially, keeping everything moving proactively within a busy, supportive, fun, and rewarding environment.

Reporting to the Group Account Director, you’ll be an integral part of the clients extended team, providing a level of service that reflects our values and ensures our client’s business is foremost and every agency touchpoint is perceived positively.

Responsibilities

Relationships/Communication

  • Build trust & respect internally and externally, managing challenges with calm, inclusive, confident professionalism
  • Lead by example, think ahead, consider contingency plans, and oversee perfect execution
  • Push for the best work by ensuring clear briefs and reasonable timings from the client
  • Set up processes to proactively track client issues and help increase client loyalty
  • Strong verbal, written and facilitation skills to effectively communicate internally and with clients

Knowledge/Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills and demonstrable experience of creating and delivering presentations and written materials
  • Knowledge of all industry communication channels and proven experience of communicating and leveraging with team and client on the best use of each
  • Understanding and anticipating brand future trends and the ability to analyse the economic, financial and industry context
  • Commercially astute and champion for integration, with examples of creating client growth and positively contributing to Agency profitability
  • Experience of writing inspiring briefs
  • Develop, apply, and promote best practice and knowledge sharing

  • Have an analytical approach to both short and medium-term goals and objectives

  • Project positivity, talking clients and team up and focusing on strengths rather than weaknesses
  • Lead by example, demonstrating ethical behaviour, good judgement, and integrity
  • Champion team development through regular discussions with direct reports
  • Play an active role in attracting, assessing, and hiring outstanding new and diverse talent to the agency
